One Stop Craft Challenge 65

This week's challenge has been set by Nikki and she has chosen the fab theme of....
'Make it personal'
Also we have a great sponsor, Diane of Di's DigiDownloads. So be sure to pop over to the challenge blog to see some great inspiration from our design team, and details of how to enter.

I have used a great Dustin Pike image on my card and personalised it for my son Jacob. His birthday isn't until July, he is dinosaur mad so thought it a perfect time to make his card and personalise it for this challenge.

A Card for Two Challenge's

I have made this card for two challenges. The first is a lovely new challenge blog that i came across called Just Cute Bears. There is a new challenge every Sunday and all they ask is you use a bear along with the weeks theme.

Just cute bears, first challenge is "One For The Girls" I hope my bear card is girly enough :-)

The layout I used is a sketch for the Truly Scrumptious Challenge. There is an optional extra to use faux or real stitching on your card.

The image I have used is a free Cuddly Buddly download.

One Stop Craft Challenge & New DT Members

Welcome to my blog, it is Saturday again so time for another One Stop Craft Challenge, but first I would like to say again what a fabulous response we had for the challenge blog DT call. We had so many entries, all were fantastic. It has been very hard for us to choose who would be joining the team.
But we have made our decisions and are pleased to welcome.....

Itzuvit - Itzuv With A Touch

Chrissie - Simply One Of A Kind

Gina - Gina's Crafty Place

Suzie - Sugar n Spice

Be sure to visit they're blogs where you will fine some wonderful inspiration.

So on to this weeks challenge..... It is the lovely Sharon's turn to set the challenge and she has chosen the theme......

Fancy Edges & Corners

Please pop over to the challenge blog where you will find details of how to enter and plenty of inspiration from our very talented design team. Just click on the image below.

I have made 2 cards this week and both are made using digital stamps. I couldn't find a border punch so used my decorative edge scissors to do my fancy edges. I have also used lace on one of the cards as this has a fancy edge too.

Hope you like them. Thanks for looking.

Challenge 62 'A Night at the Movie's'

Well first I must say we had a fabulous response to our DT Call, we have such a hard task now choosing who will join us. The lucky new members will be announced on the challenge blog next week with challenge 63.

Anyway onto this weeks challenge, Maggie has chosen the theme.....
A Night at the Movies

Be sure to pop over to the challenge HERE where you will find more inspiration from the design team, prize details, last weeks winner and of course how to enter. Good luck xx

The card I have made is dedicated to one of my favourite films Sex and the City. I just loved the movie and I'm looking forward to the sequel. I used 2.5mm stick on gems in pink for the wording.

Then layered the backing papers in different shades of pink (very girly) added ribbon and paper flowers. Also added extra bling in places.

I hope you like it and many thanks for looking. I hope you all have a lovely weekend and manage to stay warm in this freezing weather.

Popcorn the Bear Acetate Card

Well, I have been looking out at the snow (going a bit slushy as we have only had sleet today) and making cards.
I wanted to do something a little different and new to me so I made an acetate card. I have only used acetate to make shaker cards so this has been a lovely change and I am pleased with the result.

I have used, A4 acetate cut to 130mm square and creased. Popcorn the Bear Birthday Hugs Stamp Set, promarkers, adhesive, backing and flowers from my stash.
I would also like to say what a fantastic response we have had so far on our challenge blog with the DT call. There is still plenty of time to enter, so if you fancy click on the link in the side bar for the challenge blog where you will find details.
To finish we are holding our biggest ever sale for a limited time there is a massive 40% off everything online, but must end soon!!!!
I hope everyone is surviving this cold weather here in the UK, we missed the snow today but more is planned for later in the week. Will have to get wrapped up while I'm making cards in my conservatory (trust me to get the coldest room in the house, lol....lovely in summer though).
Bye for now
