GONE FISHIN’ APERTURE DECOUPAGE CARD

For This Project, You Will Need:

Equipment:

Craft Knife

Cutting Mat

Pencil

12” Rule

Materials:

1 Kanban Invertage Kit – Fishing Bear

Small Piece 7mm Honey Gold Metallic Edged Ribbon

Stix 2 – 1mm Double-Sided Foam Pads

Double Sided Tape

Small amount of Glue (optional)

Method:

1.
Take the greetings card blank from the Kanban Aperture Decoupage Kit. Pop out the rectangle from the centre of the card and fold the card in half, with the aperture at the front.

2.
Separate the toppers and the frames from the decoupage sheet, using a sharp craft knife to release the pips.

3.
Open the card out and, on the inside right-hand half of the card, lightly draw a rectangle the same size as the largest topper. To position it correctly, measure down 3.3cm from the top of the card, leaving 3.7cm at the bottom and 2.4cm on either side.

4.
Take the largest of the toppers and attach within the rectangle you have just drawn, using double-sided tape.

5.
Attach the remaining 3 toppers on top of the largest image, with the smallest image on top, using double-sided foam pads.

6.
Close the card over, so that the front is facing you and the topper layers from the inside of the card are poking through the aperture. Take the aperture frame with the smallest aperture. Line this up with the uppermost topper and stick to the front of the card, using double-sided tape.

7.
Attach the frame with the next smallest aperture on top of this, using double-sided foam pads and repeat for the last frame.

8.
Make a small bow, using the gold ribbon, and attach to the top of the card using double-sided tape or glue.

It is certainly interesting for me to read the blog. Thanx for it. I like such themes and everything connected to this matter. I definitely want to read a bit more on that blog soon.
