Strange & Wonderful!!

For This Project, You Will Need:
Equipment:
Scissors
12” Rule
Pencil
Felt Tip Pens (or other colouring medium of your choice)
Acrylic Stamping Block
Materials:

Lady with Bag Image and “Strange & Wonderful Relationship” Caption from
Murray and Ethel Rubber Stamp Set 1

Piece of U Mount

Red Stamp Pad

Piece of Scrap White Card

A5 Yellow Card (plus extra piece measuring 6.5cm x 3cm)

Piece of White Card with Gold Foiled Flowers

Double-sided tape or Glue Stick

Red Bow

Stix 2 – 2mm Double Sided Foam Pads

Method:

1.
Cut out the old lady image and caption from the Murray & Ethel Rubber Stamp Set and apply U Mount to the reverse.

2.
Stamp out the old lady image onto a piece of scrap white card and colour, using felt tip pens or your preferred medium.

3.
Stamp the caption onto a piece of yellow card, measuring 6.5cm x 3cm. Apply orange felt tip around the edge.

4.
Fold the A5 yellow card in half and then fold the front in half again (back against itself), as shown.

5.
Make a light mark on the front of the card 3.5cm from the bottom. Mark a wavy line from the top of the card to this mark and cut away the excess.

6.
Apply orange felt tip to the edges, as shown.

7.
Using the shape of the small bottom section on the front of the card as a template, cut a piece from the white card with the gold foiled flowers and apply using double-sided tape or glue stick.

8.
Using the same section of the card, draw the same shape, but on the reverse of the patterned card – cut this out and apply to the inside top right-hand corner of the card, as shown. Edge with orange felt tip.

9.
Apply double-sided foam pads to the back of the old lady image and position onto the card as shown.

10.
Apply double-sided foam pads to the back of the caption (be careful only to cover the section that will be attached to the card!) and apply as shown.

11.
Apply a red bow to the top centre of the card and some extra flowers randomly to finish.
