Dreamin' of a pink Christmas

1 x A4 Pearlescent/Iridescent Card – Pink Dew

1 x A4 Glitter Card – Pink

1 Pack of Dovecraft Silver/Gold “Christmas Shimmer” Brads

1 Pack of Dovecraft “Christmas Wishes” Rub-Ons

Fairy Elements from Jolly Nation “Fairy & Snowman” Die-Cut 3D Decoupage Papers

15cm Length of 10mm Organza/Lurex Stripe Ribbon – Pink & Silver

15cm Length of 10mm Iridescent Spot Taffeta Ribbon - Pink

Double-sided Tape

Stix2 - 2mm Foam Pads

(Optional) – PVA Glue, Red Glitter, Green Glitter and Gold Glitter

Method:


Fold the Pink Dew Pearlescent/Iridescent card in half.

Apply the “baubles garland” rub-ons to the top of your card and the “stars garland” to the bottom.

Using your pencil and rule, draw six 3cm x 3cm squares onto the back of the A4 glitter card and cut out.

Apply a strip of ribbon to the centre of each of the boxes, securing at the back with double-sided tape.

Using the point of the craft knife (or a paper-pricking tool), make a small hole in the centre of each of your “parcels”. Take the bow-shaped brads and attach one to each parcel.

Apply double-sided foam pads to the reverse of each of the parcels and attach to the card as shown.

If using, applying the red, green and gold glitters to the top layer the “fairy” decoupage – use gold for the magic wand and the band of her tiara and use the red and green to colour the holly and berries on her tiara. Allow to dry thoroughly.

Pop out the fairy decoupage elements and, using the double-sided foam pads, decoupage the fairy. Attach to the card using double-sided tape.
